Your Eye Examination

For healthy eyes and clear vision

A focus on eye health

Getting your eyes tested does more than check how well you can see. A regular eye examination reveals important information about your overall health as well as the condition of your eyes.

All three of our practices offer comprehensive sight tests for all the family. We welcome both NHS and private patients for an eye examination.

At our Standish location we offer an advanced eye test that includes Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scanning, which allows us to examine beneath the surface of your eye. This helps us to detect the onset of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes.

Find out what an OCT scan entails or contact our Standish practice to enquire about this advanced eye examination.

We take care in your eye examination to thoroughly examine your eyes and vision. We tailor our appointments to you by asking questions to understand your overall and visual health so that our recommendations are based on your individual needs.

During your eye test you will complete a few easy and painless tests that assess your visual status and eye health. Once they are complete, our optometrists will explain their findings to you, including any updates to your prescription that might be required.

  • Flashes, floaters or obscured vision.

Instead of making an appointment with your local GP, get in touch with us straight away and we can see you at one of our Eccleston, Parbold and Standish practices.
